Join this Wellness Wednesday group to discuss the different ways you can improve your physical, mental, and social well-being.

This week’s topic – Digital Hygiene: How to Make More Time for Life Off Screen than On Screen

This session will explore how to maintain mental health, behavioral health and cyber health in an age when smartphones are a greater part of our lives than ever before. Using the most current research and self-assessments, we will look at what some of the risks and consequences of excessive usage could be and how to evaluate and manage your own digital lifestyle.

 Bio:

Samantha Meadows is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Indiana and Michigan. Originally an art major, she earned her painting degree from Northwestern University in 2003. Drawn to social work, Samantha completed her Master’s in Social Work at Indiana University in 2008. She gained her LSW in 2009, LCSW in 2018, and LMSW in 2022. With experience in addiction treatment, mental illness, ex-offender reintegration, and veteran support, Samantha is dedicated to reducing mental health stigma and advocating for marginalized populations. She employs solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and somatic interventions in her work with individuals, couples, the elderly, veterans, LGBTQIA community, and those with chronic pain. In her free time, she enjoys camping, reading, making art, collecting toys, and spending time with her partner and their two dogs.
