When I traveled to Ireland and the UK my little Solis hotspot let me use the map apps etc on my phone within having to figure out sims. I just set my phone to use the hotspot wifi. It cost me $30 for 3 weeks of traveling. I know that rates and plans change and vary by hotspot carrier, but it was much cheaper than my mobile phone’s plan.
