I was able to give my daughter her first bath after birth and then laid back in a lounge chair and we fell asleep together with her on my chest. The nurses left a request note in my lap to be left alone but I read it as a love note to daddies and daughters. Being trusted by my now 32 y/o daughter is a rich blessing.
