Jayna,
I am almost done with Here One Moment and agree with you. This would be a great book club pick!

It would make a great read for a book club. Lots of points for discussion and it is a good read.

I would like to add one excellent book for future consideration Prayers for Sale by Sandra Dallas a New York bestseller. I just finished it & found myself totally engrossed like I was in the story, got to know the characters & laughed out loud a lot & was truly touched by the sad moments.

My vote is From Scratch – Tembi Locke. Brings to light love, loss, cultural expectations, starting a new life in a different country, traditions, language changes, mindsets, etc.

Writing was choppy and even though the premise sounds interesting – it was just about a Gen X whining about her lack of fame –

It is a compelling story even if readers don’t like the narrator!
